KaWaii review...

I've been using the KaWaii diapers from www.theluvyourbaby.com for about 4 days now. I LOVE THEM! They are super soft, really absorbant and totally cute! Krissy has worn them to bed the last couple nights, double stuffed, and she hasn't soaked through like she has with the bumGenius. I also love the snaps! I was a little worried Krissy wouldn't lay still long enough to snap them (there are 3 snaps you have to do on both sides) but once you figure out the setting, it's a breeze! Or should I say a snap?! David even likes them.

So far I'm really impressed. The quality appears to be really good, but we will see overtime.

So 2 weeks ago, I ordered some KaWaii One Size diapers from TheLuvYourBaby Website. Since there is some prep work to be done- washing and rewashing- I haven't tried them on Krissy yet, but so far I'm really impressed with how SOFT they are. I hope they are just as absorbent!

I'll keep you posted on how they work!

Well, we are back home from a week away for my uncles funeral and Krissy's 1st birthday party! We stayed at my grandparents and they were, of course, wonderful hosts!

Those of you who know me know my uncle has been in the hospital. He passed away Wednesday night. His memorial service will be Tuesday back in my hometown.

We are having Krissy's birthday party next weekend at my parents. She won't be 1 until July, but my parents will be gone the first half and my inlaws will be gone the second half, plus David has next weekend off!

Yummy Clean Picnic Lunch

David and I don't eat 100% clean- we eat probably 80% clean- we always have fruits and veggies on hand and I try to make the healthiest choices based on our budget and whats on sale.

Anyway, my parents came up today and brought a picnic lunch that was totally clean and totally yummy! They brought wraps (The package said Smart and Delicious), nitrate free lunchmeat (something I've missed terribly since being pregnant! The brand was Kroger Select), and provalone cheese. We had lettuce from our garden to top it all off and we had carrots, peppers, strawberries and clean tortilla chips on the side. yummy yummy yummy! The best part is they left us the leftovers!

Baby Girl is moving around a lot today. Maybe she can hear Krissy being so cranky!

We found out yesterday that we are expecting another girl! I am so excited. Boys are nice, but I thought it would be so fun to have two girls so close in age- they'll be 15 months apart. I really hope they will be good friends. They are going to share a room for a while, so stay turned for bedding sets sewing adventures!

I’ve finally joined the blogging revoltion. I’ve always kept journals, but I thought I’d try my hand at blogging. This is my journey to living green, eating clean and getting lean!

I am a wife and stay at home mom in Michigan. David is my husband. My adorable daughter, Krissy, is 11 months old and we are expecting our second child in October. We have two dogs, Isabelle and Remy, and a giant garden. While I’m looking forward to canning this year, my true passion is quilting and sewing. I am hoping to make some sundresses for Krissy soon!
